Consists of a head support, mounted on a vertical rod which can be adjusted for head, a rack & pinion and pointer assembly provides for fine adjustments of needle or cone tip to sample incorporated a slipping clutch mechanism which makes reading of penetration and subsequent resetting a simple and accurate operation. The Penetrometer is provided with automatic timing control device. Time for Penetration is automatically controlled. The plunger release can be operated by hand when desired. The dial is graduated from 0- 400 in 1/10th mm sub- division. Complete with penetration needle, set of cups & weight of 50gm and 100gm.

Standard Test Sieves help in ascertaining possible frost action, determining graded, filters, selection of groating materials, designing of Cement and Asphaltic, Concrete mixes etc. Coarse Test Sieves: Diameter 300mm or 450mm. made of G.I sheet frame with joint, fitted with steel perforated square openings.

The Core Cutting Machine is designed specifically to take out core sample from Asphalt, concrete & reinforced structure. The Machine is fitted with Air - Cooled Grieves Engine. The capacity of the machine is 100mm dia x 200mm depth. The machine is supplied with water tank for cooling to the drilling bit. The core -drilling machine is portable & has towing arrangement with pneumatic wheels for easy movement. The machine complete as above is supplied with one Diamond Core Bit 100mm dia & one Core Barrel 200 mm long.

Bitumen Extractor Electrically Operated for the determination of Bitumen percentage in Bituminous mixtures. It has a removable precision machined aluminium fetor bowl mounted on a vertical shaft. A filter paper disc is pressed in between the rotor bowl and cover plate by tightening a knurled nut. The bowl assembly is enclosed in a housing mounted on a cast body. The solvent can be introduced during tests through a cup on the housing cover. The extractor is supplied complete with pack of filter paper. Suitable for operation on 220V, 1Ph, 50Hz AC Supply.

A specially designed Vibrating Machine is used for vibrating the mix in moulds according to strictly controlled programme at a frequency of 12,000 ± 400 cycles per minute. The vibrator is mounted over coiled springs and the vibrations are developed by means of a revolving eccentric shaft. The centre of gravity of the vibrator, including the cube mould, is either at the centre of eccentric shaft or within 25mm below it. The simple design of the machine facilitates easy assembly and dismantling of the cube moulds. The machine is suitable for operation on 220V, 50Hz, single phase, AC supply.

The machine is used for determining the aggregate impact value. The Sturdy Construction consists of a base and support columns to form a rigid framework around the quick release trigger mechanism to ensure an effective free fall of the hammer during test. The free fall can be adjusted through 380±5mm. The hammer is provided with a locking arrangement. The apparatus is supplied complete with cylindrical cup, metal measure 75mm x 50mm deep and tamping rod.

The machine is used for determining the resistance to wear of small size coarse aggregates and crushed rock. The machine consists of a hollow cylinder, mounted on a sturdy frame on ball bearings. A detachable shelf which extends throughout the inside length of the drum catches the abrasive charge and does not allow it to fall on the cover. The drum is rotated at a speed of 30-33 rpm by an electric motor through a heavy duty reduction gearbox. Machine is suitable for operation on 415V, 3-phase, 50Hz, AC supply.
